A Hodgepodge of Goodness

In one weekend in London you can:

Dance on stage at a fun small club by your dorm...

\

Go to an awesome market on a saturday morning

See a few iconic London sights at dusk...

Go a museum with all of the old war planes and tanks

... and full replicas of WWII trenches

You can go a pub with neighbors...

And then spend the next day with dinosaurs

And traveling through the center of the earth

And to top it off, you can root on your favorite American football team from across the ocean

And then celebrate victory in the streets.

So all and all my first full weekend in London was amazing. Friday night we went to a small club at Imperial College down the road for a fun girls' night.
The next morning me, the roommate and my two friends Nick & Nick all went to portobello market, one of the best markets in London. There was so much fun shopping and good food. Definitely going back there!
After the market we walked up the Imperial War Museum. I had never heard of it, but it was so awesome. There was trenches, airplanes, tanks, subs and wonderful exhibits. After 6 hours of walking I was so exhausted, I couldn't fathom going out. So me and few friends from my floor went to a small pub called the Church hill arms, which was so fun!

Sunday,  I slept in and didn't really feel like going far. So I returned to the Natural History Museum with Nick to look at the dinosaur and geology exhibits. We couldn't stay too long because that night the JETS played the Patriots and we found a great sports cafe. It was PACKED. I know I said I would  try not be too American while I was here. But that resolution had to give way to my favorite team competing in the playoffs... WHICH THEY WON!

Now things are settling down. But soon the traveling will begin. Jenny, Lindsay and I are booking our first trip tonight.. and guesses as to where??
