Sleep when I'm dead... or back in the states.

My program definitely has the most fun people ever. Last night BU sponsored a Welcome to London semester party at this club called Opal. I was expected to get there and see a few people standing around talking. When we walked in we saw this...

That my friends.. is the dance floor. Everyone was having a great time. The music had so much variety from grease.. to recent hits to some 90's pop.  I cannot remember the last time I had that much fun dancing.
Allie, Jenny and Me

The girls.. and Arthur on the dance floor

I have a lot more pictures, but I am so red and sweaty in all of them from dancing ad that really has no place on the public forum.

This morning I slept until 11. The combination of waking up early all this week ad going to bed late last night made getting out of my warm bed difficult. But then I had a talk with myself and thought "Lauren, you are in London! Get your butt up and go explore the city" and that is exactly what I did! The girls and I jumped the tube and we were off! We were on our feet walking around for 6 hours and it was a complete blast. This city is really incredible, I am definitely falling in love with it.

Taking pictures in the Market

Oldest restaurant in London, Rules.

Somerset House that's been converted into a skating rink

Fish n' Chips with some Tea for lunch. Can't get more London than that.

As we were leaving lunch we got caught in a sudden down pour... so we ran inside

HARROD'S!!

Outside of Harrod's

I actually really love photography and I like to fake being artistic. But this was my favorite shot of the day. I took it while we were walking home for the night.
So what did we learn today. Sleeping is overrated and unnecessary and London is awesome. It's actually starting to sink in that I live here!

Off to make myself a light supper then the girls and I want to try a club everyone raves about called Fabric.

But before I leave... in case anyone actually reads this. I want to go on my first trip soon... where should it be to???
